An improved double drift bunching system with the efficiency of a 6-harmonic buncher

Description

At VECC a K = 500 superconducting cyclotron is in an advanced stage of construction. The axial injection system will require an efficient buncher because the production efficiency of ion sources for multicharged heavy ions are generally poor. So a high efficiency buncher such as a multi-harmonic buncher or a double drift buncher (DDB) is required
