Internal friction of gadolinium-dysprosium alloys in low temperature range

Description
Investigation into the Young module E and internal friction Q-1 of gadolinium-dysprosium alloys within 4.2-380 K temperature interval is conducted. It is ascertained that Gd concentration increase leads to Q-1 maximum levelling in the region of ferromagnetic ordering at T ∼37 K. Magnetic phase diagram of the system is plotted
