Study of FMS wave propagation and damping and ICR heating in L-2 stellarator
- 1. AN SSSR, Moscow (Russian Federation). Inst. Obshchej Fiziki
Description
The efficiency of ICRH by FMSW of the current D+H plasma in the L-2 stellarator L-2 was found to be the same as in tokamaks with similar plasma parameters. The damping length dependence on magnetic field is typical for mode-conversion damping. The comparison of the experimental and theoretical spectral curve K parallel = f(ne) is given.
