Structural changes in tungsten ultradispersed powders under heating
- 1. AN Ukrainskoj SSR, Kiev. Inst. Problem Materialovedeniya
Description
Tungsten ultradispersed powders with 3-10 nm particle size are studied. They are shown to be single crystal formations. Particle size increases under heating up to 300-1100 deg C in hydrogen. It is suggested that surface diffusion with liquidlike coalescence of particles proceeding simultaneously at early stages is the main process of the mass transfer in this case
