An analysis of the tungsten-aluminium-nickel catalyst

  • 1. Moskovskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ., Moscow (Russian Federation). Kafedra Analiticheskoj Khimii

Description

Methods for determining the basic components in W-Al-Ni catalyst are developed. After opening the object by acids the precipitate is a precipitated form of tungsten annealed up to WO3. Nickel and aluminium are detected in the filtrate by complexonometric titration with photometric detection of equivalence point, or other by the photometric method using eriochromecyanine (aluminium) or 4-(2-pyridylaso) resorein (nickel). The analysis duration does not exceed 3 hours, relative standard deviation when determining 12-30% of basic components is no more than 0.0036 (P = 0.95; n = 4)
