Accumulation and gas release of hydrogen from irradiated RG-T grade graphite

Description
Results of experiments on measurement of hydrogen release spectra from irradiated in different conditions of RG-T grade graphite samples are presented. Irradiation was conducted at various media and temperatures in IVG.1M reactor. Measurements were carried out by the method of thermal desorption spectroscopy. Hydrogen concentration in the samples were measured. Evaluation of hydrogen diffusion coefficients in graphite was carried out. It is established, that reactor radiation exerts considerable influence on mass transfer and hydrogen accumulation in RG-T grade graphite. Mechanism of irradiation influence on parameters of both hydrogen accumulation and hydrogen gas release from graphite is proposed
