FISPACT 4 user manual
Description
This document is the User Manual for FISPACT 4, a powerful inventory code developed for use in neutron induced activation calculations for materials in fusion devices. FISPACT can be used to calculate the numbers of atoms present as well as a material's activity after neutron irradiation and nuclide formation pathways. The FISPACT 4 code is complementary to FISPIN, developed for fission reactor calculations. Widely used in Europe, it has been adopted by the ITER project and is available on several computer platforms including UNIX workstations and powerful personal computers, with a Windows Interface. External libraries of reaction cross sections and decay data are used to calculate an inventory of nuclides from neutron flux irradiation of starting materials. (U.K.)
