Quark trapping for lattice U(1) gauge fields

Description
For lattice U(1) gauge fields in d = 3 dimensions it is shown that <= exp(-const.TlnL), where C is a rectangle of dimension T X L, T >= L. This indicates quark trapping, by a potential at least as strong as Coulomb. (Auth.)
