Description
Ohio River water quality in the years 1978 and 1979 is assessed. The analysis considers data on physical characteristics, minerals, nutrients, trace metals and organics, radioactivity, bacteria, and biological effects. The river is discussed by segments, with special attention given to water quality problem indicators. Results from a unique organic spill detection system are also provided
