Space charge effects and beam halo in a cyclotron

Description
With the space charge forces considered, simulations of the evolution of the beam bunch in an AVF cyclotron are carried out. The result shows that the deformation of the bunch and the formation of beam halo also take place in a cyclotron. But the mechanism of the formation of the beam halo in a cyclotron is different form that in a linear accelerator
