1986 imports and exports of nuclear fuels

Description
The statistics compiled by the German Federal Office for Industry (Bundesamt fuer Wirtschaft), on behalf of the Federal Ministry of the Environment, Protection of Nature, and Reactor Safety, of the imports and exports of nuclear fuels show the imports to have declined by 3.8%, the exports to have risen strongly by 201.9% in 1986 compared to the previous year. Quantitatively, most imports and exports were depleted uranium, source materials, natural uranium, and uranium enriched up to 10%. (orig.)

Die vom Bundesamt fuer Wirtschaft fuer den Bundesminister fuer Umwelt, Naturschutz und Reaktorsicherheit erstellte Statistik der Ein- und Ausfuhren von Kernbrennstoffen und Ausgangsstoffen zeigt im Jahr 1986 gegenueber dem Vorjahr bei der Einfuhr eine Abnahme um 3,8% und bei der Ausfuhr eine starke Steigerung um 201,9%. Der mengenmaessige Schwerpunkt der Einfuhr und Ausfuhr liegt bei Ausgangsstoffen, Natururan und bis 10% angereichertem Uran. (orig./UA)Additional details
