(η1-Cp) Tc(NAr)3: Synthesis and structure
Description
The reaction of KCp with TcI(NAr)3 (Ar = 2,6-diisopropylphenyl) rapidly forms (η1-Cp)Tc(NAr)3. A single-crystal X-ray determination confirmed the η1 nature of the cyclopentadienyl ligand. When TcI(NAr)3 is treated with an excess of KCp, a second cyclopentadienyl group is added to the metal, giving K[Cp2Tc(NAr)3]. 12 refs., 1 fig
