Study of texture formation dependence in Ti-Al-V pseudo-α-alloy on deformation conditions
Description
Conditions of forming uniform rolling texture of Ti-Al-V system pseudo-α alloy, and the effect of the metal working temperature on the type of forming texture are investigated. Development of nonuniform texture of 10 mm sheets is mainly due to availability of the sheet rolling temperature gradient including the initial and finite temperatures of martensite transition in alloy under β and α' deformation. It causes change of texture formation mechanisms in the alloy α phase with removal from the middle to the surface metal layers. Formation of the basic and prismatic type shift texture in the 10 mm metal sheet layer displays peculiarities of the rolling shear stress component distribution over the sheet thickness
