If the three mines policy is changed, will new projects be profitable?

The recent arguments of the proponents and opponents of an expansion of uranium mining in Australia are presented along with available projections on supply and demand for uranium, by the year 2010. The Australian Uranium Producers Group argues that the value of uranium export might reach more than $1 billion by 2004 if the current 'three-mine policy' were changed now. The environmental groups are still strongly in favor of existing limits and are unmoved by the economical arguments made on behalf of the uranium producers. ills
