Description

A brief review of facilities, applied in ionizing radiation spectrometry under low energy background radiation high fluxes is presented. A simple circuit is described, allowing one to cut off the background pulses using a linear discriminator when they are short and the risk of a superposition is not high. To improve signal-to-noise ratio, signals, obliged to the effect studied, are mainly integrated. The minimal duration of input signals is 50 ns, signals at the integrator outlet possess a plane apex with the duration of ∼ 1 μs. They can be recorded by standard spectrometric analog-to-digital converters of a microsecond range. The circuit does not comprise gates or other commutable points. The device is efficient with 1000 ns input signal duration
