Description
Studies were initiated to recover americium from analytical waste solution containing large amounts of uranium. The experimental conditions were optimized for the extraction of Americium, Europium and Uranium from different HNO3 concentrations using tetra-n-octyl diglycolamide (TODGA) and tetra-2-ethylhexyldiglycolamide (T2EHDGA) in n-dodecane containing 5% iso-decanol as a solvent.
