The TEXTOR fusion experiment

Description
The principle of the experimental design of TEXTOR (Torus Experiment for Technology Oriented Research) is outlined and the problems of plasma-wall interaction are mentioned. The reactor is made to allow replacement of wall section within a short time to investigate the behaviour of the wall material. Access of probes and the injection of neutrons are also shown. (I.G.)
