Description
Experimental research has been done on a compact type of double-flow lubricating-oil cooler. The lubricating-oil cooler is a type of mixed tube bundles including the smooth tube and the pin fin tube and different structure between the both sides. Compared the experimental results with other lubricating-oil cooler, in the condition of same max mass flow rate, the heat capacity in unit volume added to 1.43 times, the heat transfer coefficient added to 1.35 times. At the same time, the research also indicated, when taking different flow as the entrance side, the result is different, the heat-exchange effect is better when taking the side which is less beneficial for strengthen heat transfer as entrance side.
