Improved method for SIMULATE-E cross-section modeling
Description
The SIMULATE-E code uses a general cross-section modeling method that may combine two-dimensional tables and/or two-dimensional fitting polynomials with one-dimensional polynomials to define three-dimensional representations of partial cross sections. An improved SIMULATE-E cross-section representation technique has been developed. The technique has been shown to be successful in improving the SIMULATE-E accuracy; it completely eliminates the cross-section representation uncertainty discussed in the paper
