Description
Total amounts and concentrations of radionuclides in liquid and gaseous waste are controlled lower than prescribed emission levels. Radioactive waste treatment facilities have been operated appropriately. Solid waste is stored in an on-site solid waste storage building. Environmental radiation levels are monitored continuously using monitoring posts equipped with an NaI scintillation detector, an ionization chamber, and other detectors. Soil, rain, and sea water are sampled monthly and are measured their activity levels which are in the fluctuation range of the background. (author)
