Radiation exposure of the population due to construction materials with specific reference to secondary raw materials

Description
The application of existing materials in house construction contributes only insignificantly radiation exposure of the occupants. The partially more and more practised evaluation of the resulting effects of radiation from construction materials due to their content of naturally radioactive materials can lead to faulty estimates in specific instances. Abstract (German)
Die Verwendung herkoemmlicher Baustoffe beim Hausbau traegt nur unwensentlich zur Strahlenexposition der Bewohner bei. Die teilweise immer noch praktizierte Beurteilung der resultierenden Strahleneinwirkung von Baumaterialien durch ihren Gehalt an natuerlich radioaktiven Stoffen kann in Einzelfaellen zu Fehleinschaetzungen fuehren.
