A brief introduction of research and development of APWR at SWCR
Description
The research and development of APWR which was done by SWCR (Southwes Centre for Reactor Engineering Research and Design) is simply introduced. The targets of the 600 MWe APWRs (AC-600) with the Chinese feature, the feature of preliminary project and the future idea are provided. The features of AC-600 are lower engineering investment, better inherent safety, higher reliability and shorter schedule. Futhermore AC-600 can link up the PWR of China very well, so AC-600 is the main development direction of nuclear power in China
