Search for the rare decays B0→Ds(*)+a0(2)-

Description

We have searched for the decays B0→Ds+a0-, B0→Ds*+a0-, B0→Ds+a2- and B0→Ds*+a2- in a sample of about 230x106 Υ(4S)→BB decays collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B Factory at SLAC. We find no evidence for these decays and set upper limits at 90% C.L. on the branching fractions: B(B0→Ds+a0-)<1.9x10-5, B(B0→Ds*+a0-)<3.6x10-5, B(B0→Ds+a2-)<1.9x10-4, and B(B0→Ds*+a2-)<2.0x10-4
