Beam instability driven by a non-linear Langmuir wave in an inhomogeneous plasma
Description
By taking into account the self-consistent evolution of a non-linear Langmuir wave in an inhomogeneous plasma, beams formed by the detrapped particles are investigated. The frequency interval of the beam instability and amplification rates are calculated. (Auth.)
