Description
Transparent YVO4: Eu3+Li+ phosphor was synthesized via facile hydrothermal technique at 100 °C. Tetramethylammonium silicate was used to prepare the attributed composites through the sol–gel approach. High resolution transmission electron microscopy studies confirmed the formation of uniform nanoparticles (NPs). The produced NPs had average size of ∼10 nm with narrow distribution. Despite the low quantity of rare earth element dopant in YVO4: Eu3+Li+ phosphors, the luminescence properties of the obtained NPs were remarkable. (paper)
