Description
The fuel rod made out of a zirconium alloy has on its inside a layer of zirconium containing 0.1 - 3 weight percent (w/o) molybdenum and/or 0.03 - 1 w/o carbon and/or 0.03 - 1 w/o phosphorus and/or 0.03 - 1 w/o silicon. The fuel is preferably uranium dioxide. (author)
