Superconductivity in Hgsub(3-delta)AsF6: absence of surface mercury
- 1. Pennsylvania Univ., Philadelphia (USA). Lab. for Research on the Structure of Matter
Description
Low temperature resistance and X-ray fluorescence measurements indicate that the anisotropic superconductivity of Hgsub(3-delta)AsF6 does not arise from a surface film of extruded mercury. Meissner effect data demonstrate that the superconductivity goes to complete flux exclusion below 0.43 K. (author)
