Description

Isothermal sections at 870 and 1070 K have been investigated for the Ti-Co-Sn and Ti-Co-Sb ternary systems. Phase relations in the Ti-Co-Sn system are characterized by the presence of extended solid solutions Ti5CoxSn3 (x = 0-1.0) and TiCo2-xSn (x = 0-1.0). For the ternary Ti5Co0.46Sb2.54 compound the crystal structure was refined from X-ray powder diffraction data by the Rietveld method (W5Si3-type structure, space group I4/mcm, Z = 4, a = 1.0474(1), c = 0.52415(1) nm)
