Rapid starting-up device of high pressure core injection system
Description
Purpose: To provide a rapid starting-up device for use in the high pressure core water injection tube of a BWR, which is capable of shortening a period of time from the receipt of a starting signal to the starting of the operation of the device and improving the responsiveness. Constitution: When a starting signal is generated by a failure occurring in the primary pipeline of a reactor, an auxiliary oil pump starts operating, oil in an oil tank is applied with pressure, and a main steam check valve is operated through a pilot valve. Upon this occasion, since the downstream side pipeline of the auxiliary oil pump is supplied with oil from the accumulator through an orifice, and constantly filled with oil, pressurized oil applied to the auxiliary oil pump is introduced into the pilot valve.
