Experience in radiation therapy of malignant tumours of the kidney

Description
The results of radiation therapy of 32 patients with malignant tumours of kidneys are presented. Twenty two patients underwent combined treatment and 10 patients - only radiation one. Eight patients had the 2 stage of the disease, 18 patients - the 3, and 4 patients had the 4 stage. Two patients had a relapse of the tumour after the operation. A three-year survival was obtained in 50 per cent and a five year survival - in 36.6 per cent
