Description
The results are given of the experimental determination of electron collision cross section for momentum transfer in potassium vapours by measuring d.c. conductivity of a partially ionized plasma. The plasma was produced in a plasma diode by surface ionization of potassium atoms on two tungsten electrodes. (L.O.)
