Effect of pressure on the lanthanide crystal fields and the superposition model

Description
Effect of pressure on A6q and A4q of LaCl3: Pr3+, LaCl3: Nd3+ and SrFCl: Sm2+ are analysed by the superposition model. It is shown that intrinsic crystal field parameters and power law exponents between these and other systems incorporating Cl- and F- ligands are qualitatively transferable
