On the nature of complexes of divalent lanthanoids and actinoids with sodium tetraphenylborate

Description
When investigating aqueous and aqueous-ethanol solutions of Sm2+ using spectrophotometry, it is shown that, in case of saturation of internal coordination Sm2+ sphere with water, changes of its spectra are not observed depending on tetraphenylborate (TPB-) halogen-ion or ion presented. It points to the fact that complexing of bivalent lanthanoids and actinoids with (TPB-) detected should be considered as the process of complex formation with outerspheric anion
