Analysis of capital and operating costs associated with high-level waste solidification processes
Description
An analysis was performed to evaluate the sensitivity of annual operating costs and capital costs of waste solidification processes to various parameters defined by the requirements of a proposed Federal waste repository. The process methods and waste forms examined were salt cake, spray calcine, fluidized bed calcine, borosilicate glass, and supercalcine multibarrier. 2 tables
