Description
The scientific basic disciplines of physics and chemistry are the beginning of all medical teaching. They are suitable to clarify medical and biochemical problems in their causality by means of their own thinking methodics as well as by the information provided. This book attempts to point out the relationships of physics, radiology and chemistry to neighbouring disciplines, especially to practical medicine. Greater importance must naturally be given here to the examples of individual fundamental facts than to the conveying of pure theory from books. The statements and questions on self control ordered according to chapter represent a minimum learning for the students which can be extended as required. (orig./ORU)
Abstract (German)
Die naturwissenschaftlichen Grunddisziplinen Physik und Chemie stehen heute ueberall am Anfang jeglicher medizinischen Ausbildung. Sie sind sowohl durch die ihnen eigene Denkmethodik als auch durch den vermittelten Stoff geeignet, medizinische und biochemische Probleme in ihrer Kausalitaet verstaendlich zu machen. In diesem Buch wird versucht, die Beziehungen der Physik, Strahlenkunde und Chemie zu den Nachbardisziplinen, vor allem aber zur praktischen Medizin hervorzuheben. Dabei musste auf die exemplarische Darstellung einzelner fundamentaler Fakten naturgemaess groesserer Wert gelegt werden als auf die Vermittlung rein lexikalischen Wissens. Die jedem Kapitel nachgeordneten Merksaetze und Fragen zur Selbstkontrolle stellen fuer die Studierenden das Lernminimum dar, das je nach Bedarf erweitert werden kann. (orig./ORU)Additional details
