j-j coupling and quasi-spin for complex electron configurations

Description
Brief statement on the quasi-spin method for complex electron configurations in the jj-coupling type is given. Complex fractional - parentage coefficients are introduced. Irreducible tensors in the quasi-spin space of two subshells and their matrix elements are considered. It is shown that the fractional-parentage coefficients obtained may be used for determining in the case of complex configurations any matrix elements of operators corresponding to physical values
