Device and process for nondestructive testing with simultaneous radiographic and tomographic data acquisition

The device includes a X or gamma ray source and a detector, between the two a rotating support for the object tested. The 2-D detector gives for each point of the radiographic projection an analog signal proportional to the transmitted radiation, which is transformed by an analog to digital converter and stored in a first memory, a system for partial extraction and accumulation of some of these stored data corresponding to a particular zone of the object to obtain sonograms stored in a second memory, data are processed for reconstruction of tomographic sections
