(p,π+) reaction near threshold
Description
New data on the energy-dependence of the 10B(p,π+)11B/sub g.s/ and 40Ca(p,π+)41Ca/sub g.s./ reactions have been obtained at IUCF. The measurements extend from 60 MeV down to only a few MeV above threshold. Some of the main features of the data are reproduced by DWBA calculations
