Crystal structure of H4SiMo12O40x13H2O

Description

H4SiMo12O40x13H2O, which is isomorphic with H3PMo12O40. (12-14)H2O, was subjected to X-ray structre examination (diffractometer, lambda, Mo, MNC in the anisotropic approximation according to 3278 reflections until R = 0.049). Triclinic crystals have the following parameters: a=14.096; b=13.499; c=13.976 A; α=109.3; β=119.1; γ=67.8 deg; z=2; the factor of group P1. The structure of a hydrate shell has been discussed, H5O2+ and H7O3+ ions entering in that shell
