Description

The validity of hydrodynamics due to the occurrence of pion condensates in high energy nucleus-nucleus collisions is discussed. It is concluded that shock wave phenomena must exist. Experimental evidence for High Density Mach Shock Waves is presented over a wide range of projectile energies. It seems that the data can be interpreted as indication of a density isomer
