Description

Operational experience gained on Magnox reactors during the last five years is discussed. The performance of fuel, boilers and control systems and the development of in-reactor techniques for maintenance and repair are described. A summary is given of the scope of inspection and repair work which is being undertaken in order to ensure that these reactors will continue to operate safely and reliably through the 1980s. (U.K.)
