Description
Tetracyanoacetates, M(NCCH2COO)4 (where M=Th or U) and UO2(NCCH2COO)2.H2O and their coordination complexes with (CH3)2S=0 (DMSO), HCOON(CH3)2, (DMF), 1,10-Phenenthrolene (Phen) and 2,2'Bipyridine (Bipy), have been synthesised and characterised by elemental analysis, molecular weight determination, molar conductance measurements, X-ray diffraction and infrared (IR) spectroscopic studies (4000 - 200 cm-1). Thermogravimetric analysis of the compounds have been carried out to study the thermal decomposition mode. (author)
