Quality control of SPECT
Description
Point, line and sensitivity phantoms were designed. Jaszczak phantom was selected as the tomographic uniformity and total performance phantom. Six parameters were proposed to evaluate the performance of SPECT. The results obtained from the omega 500/Mcs 560 SPECT indicated that the electronic performance was acceptable but the mechanical performance was greatly degraded due to the mechanical wearing and aging of this equipment
