Screening of edge dislocations in normal metals and superconductors and the softening of metals at the superconducting transition
- 1. Institute of Physics, Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian, SSR, Kiev
Description
The screening of edge dislocations and their interaction with charged point defects (vacancies and impurities) in normal metals and superconductors with various shapes of the Fermi surface are considered. It is shown that at the n--s transition an increase in the potential barriers occurs at points where the dislocations are pinned, which enables the results of experiments on the softening of metals to be understood
