Post-irradiation annealing processes for spherical fuel elements and other fuel samples
Description
A new equipment was installed for fission product annealing tests of spherical HTR fuel elememts. High frequency furnace and two resistance furnaces were connected with their helium sweep circuits in such a way, that at a given time the fission gas release from two of the furnaces can be monitored independently. The resistance furnaces are capable to reach temperatures of 2,5000C. The diversity of the safety design of the cooling system and an automatic temperature setting render possible long-term tests without operating personnel. (orig./GSC)

Fuer Ausheizversuche an Brennstoffproben fuer den mit kugelfoermigen Brennelementen beladenen Hochtemperaturreaktor wurde eine Apparatur erstellt. Ein Hochfrequenzofen und zwei Widerstandsoefen sind mit ihren Heliumspuelgaskreislaeufen so miteinander gekoppelt, dass fuer jeweils zwei der Oefen parallel an zwei Messplaetzen die Spaltgasfreisetzung der untersuchten Proben gemessen werden kann. Mit den beiden Widerstandsoefen koennen Temperaturen bis zu 2.5000C erreicht werden. Die diversitaere Sicherheitsauslegung der Kuehlkreislaeufe und eine automatische Temperaturregelung ermoeglichen Langzeitversuche ohne Bediengungspersonal. (orig./GSC)
