Developments in the domain of material technique for components of nuclear plants

The author considers the experience that has been acquired during the manufacture of reactor components with emphasis on cladding checks, temperature-induced embrittlement and impurities. Remedial measures through developments in material optimization and basic safety, and in the domain of large forgings are discussed. (Auth./G.T.H.)
