Electronic transition in CeAl2 under pressure

Description
The strong anomalies in the resistance-temperature characteristic of CeAl2 disappear continuously with increasing pressure between 30 and 130 kbar. From the similarity to the γ/α transition of Ce metal it is suggested that CeAl2 undergoes an analogous electronic transition under pressure as pure Ce. (Auth.)
