Gas well hits paydirt at Waterton

Description

Canadian 88 Energy Corporation's 8-18-7-2 W5 Waterton well is estimated to have 300 billion cubic feet of gas reserves. The well targeted the Mississippian at 4,100 metres. Current bottom hole is 4,156 metres and well casing is being run. The company plans to deepen the well about 150 metres to test the deeper Devonian formation. Canadian 88 plans for four or five other wells in the area
