Actinide recycling system

Description

A FBR type reactor in which the amount of transuranium and uranium in loaded fresh fuels is controlled based on the amount of generation-reaction and the amount of an annihilation-nuclear reaction of transuranium element in the FBR type reactor in order to substantially equalize an average net consumption amount (combustion annihilation amount-newly generation amount) of plutonium and minor actinide (MA) in a FBR type reactor in each of years with an average amount of Pu and MA taken out from a LWR type reactor in each of years. Nuclear fuel recycling of recovering Pu and MA from spent fuels of a LWR type reactor and manufacturing fuels such as of oxides, nitrides or metal alloys for a FBR type reactor are at first constructed and operated, and an initial reactor core of a FBR type reactor is constituted only by the fuels recovered and manufactured from spent fuels of a LWR type reactor. Then, surplus supply of MA from the LWR type reactor is not remained after burning, and the amount of MA in the FBR type reactor is not changed but made constant on every cycles even if recycling of Pu and MA is repeated, and steady operation in one identical plant is enabled.
