Magnetic anisotropy and energy spectrum of thulium ferrite garnet

Description
K1 and K2 constants for thulium ferrite-garnet that agree satisfactorily with experimental data enabling to make a conclusion about the correctness of application of the used models to the calculation of TmxY3-xFe5O12 anisotropy, are calculated theoretically in terms of similar-named model. Dependence of position of 13 lower power levels of Tm3+ ion on βH exchange field is obtained. 4 refs., 3 figs
